Over €300,000 invested in professional development and career progression across the business
Chadwicks Group has celebrated the graduation of 40 colleagues from its Leadership Development Programme and Sales Academy, following an investment of over €300,000 in professional development and career progression across the business. The programmes were delivered in partnership with the Irish Management Institute, McKernan Training, KinchLyons and Chadwicks Group subject matter experts and supported by Midlands Border East Skillnet.
The graduation ceremony took place at the Killashee Hotel in Naas, bringing together colleagues from across the business who have completed structured development programmes designed to strengthen leadership capability, sales excellence and foster long-term career pathways within Chadwicks Group.
The Leadership Development Programme, an intensive 18-month programme delivered in partnership with the Irish Management Institute, Chadwicks Group subject matter experts and KinchLyons, saw 23 colleagues graduate. The programme is designed to support colleagues with leadership potential and to build capability in areas including people management, collaboration, commercial thinking, resilience and strategic leadership.
Since beginning the programme, seven participants have already been promoted within Chadwicks Group. The programme also supports Chadwicks Group’s focus on developing a more diverse leadership pipeline, with female participation in the Leadership Development Programme reaching 35%, compared with 21% female representation across the business overall.
The Sales Academy, a 12-month programme delivered in partnership with McKernan Training and Chadwicks Group subject matter experts, saw a further 17 colleagues graduate. Delivered onsite at the Group’s Support Office, the programme focused on strengthening sales capability, customer service, product knowledge and commercial confidence.
Almost a quarter (24%) of participants were female, and three Sales Academy colleagues have already been promoted since the course began.

The Leadership Development Programme and Sales Academy form part of Chadwicks Group’s wider people development strategy, supporting colleagues to build the skills, confidence and experience required to progress within the business and deliver for customers across Ireland.
