Chadwicks Group Appoints Billy Browne as Managing Director of HSS Hire Ireland

Chadwicks Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Billy Browne as Managing Director of HSS Hire Ireland, part of its Specialist Products Division.

HSS Hire Ireland is a tool and equipment hire specialist operating from nine branches in the Republic of Ireland, offering an extensive range of conventional hire products, as well as specialist equipment with a particular focus on powered access.

In his role as Managing Director, Billy will set the strategic direction for HSS Hire Ireland and lead the overall performance of the business. He will oversee day-to-day operations across a business employing more than 125 colleagues, with a focus on operational efficiency, enhanced customer offering and long-term market relevance.
Billy joins Chadwicks Group with extensive senior leadership experience across general management, sales and finance. Most recently, he served as Managing Director of PERI Ireland, where he oversaw a period of strong market share growth and the successful introduction of multiple new business streams. Prior to that, Billy held a number of senior leadership roles with Hilti Group, including Commercial Director for Hilti Ireland, where he led the direct sales, retail and operations teams and delivered three consecutive years of strong revenue growth and Director of Finance, where he was part of the leadership team that returned the Irish business to profitability.

Billy is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Galway.
