Chadwicks unveils revamped Kilkenny branch
Relaunch of Kilkenny branch forms part of Chadwicks Group’s ongoing nationwide branch upgrade
Chadwicks Group, Ireland’s leading builders’ merchants, has officially relaunched its newly upgraded Kilkenny branch. Located in Ormonde Business Park on the Carlow Road, Chadwicks Kilkenny has been serving the needs of local tradespeople and the wider community in the area since 1966 with everything required to get any construction job done under one roof.
Today’s announcement forms part of an ongoing nationwide rebrand and branch upgrade programme by Chadwicks Group which commenced in 2018.
While there are changes and enhancements to the branch, the 23 strong team of highly trained specialists remains the same. Customers can expect to receive the same expert product knowledge they have come to enjoy from the Kilkenny branch.
Sustainable solutions
New to the revamped Kilkenny branch is the Chadwicks ECO Centre, a dedicated space within the branch showcasing the latest in sustainable building materials including insulation, airtightness, ventilation systems, heat pumps & controls, solar energy and water-saving products. Whether retrofitting an existing build, or undertaking a fully ‘green’ project, the new ECO Centre comprises of the must-have, low environmental impact and high-performance building materials.
New Fixing Centre
The new look Chadwicks Kilkenny branch also features a Fixing Centre, a “store-within-a -store” concept which aims to provide builders, engineers, and specialist tradespeople with all the tools and materials they may need in one convenient location. The Fixing Centre offers a range of fixing materials which includes setting chemicals, concrete anchors, nuts, bolts, nails, and fixings, perfectly suited for any trade job. As well as having a substantial range in stock, customers can also order specialised fixings through the dedicated team in-store.
A wide range of power tools is also available at the Fixing Centre – from entry-level models to top of the range carpentry tools. The new store will also offer the latest cordless freehand tools to cater to all your trade needs.
Doors, Floors & More
The upgraded Kilkenny branch has been designed with the busy tradesperson in mind and visitors can expect a more seamless shopping experience and some new and exciting additions and upgrades including new showrooms featuring the latest innovations and products for doors, floors and bathrooms. There’s also an expanded workwear range featuring high quality work clothing from top name brands such as Snickers and Mascot.
A new coffee station has also been added in-branch allowing customers to meet and catch up while in the store. There is also a community board in the coffee area for information on local initiatives of interest to tradespeople, including WEEE recycling and Chadwicks projects such as DIYSOS and their ongoing work to support the Irish Wheelchair Association.
