Chadwicks Group unveils new look Clonmel Branch
GAA stars Samantha Lambert and Séamus Callanan officially launch the revamped branch
Chadwicks Group, Ireland’s leading builders’ merchants today unveiled its newly revamped Clonmel branch. Tipperary GAA stars Samantha Lambert and Séamus Callanan were on hand to officially cut the ribbon alongside branch manager Sean O’Sullivan.
Today’s announcement forms part of Chadwicks Group’s ongoing nationwide rebrand and upgrade programme, which began in 2018 and has seen 31 stores upgraded and refurbished to date.
Located at Carrigeen Business Park, Chadwicks Clonmel has been serving the needs of local tradespeople and the wider community for more than 40 years. While there are changes to the branch, customers can expect the same expert product knowledge and advice they have enjoyed throughout the years. The team of 22 highly trained specialists remains the same, totaling over 400 years of service at Chadwicks Clonmel.
Customer-focused design
The new store has been fully refurbished and designed with the customer in mind providing builders, engineers, specialist tradespeople and DIYers with all the tools and materials they need to get the job done in one convenient location.
Boasting a new and improved showroom and layout, the branch has been fully repainted and features new product lines across ranges including With ranges catering to any trade job from brands such as Flair, Grant, J.G. Kelly and SmartFence, the skilled team of experts are on hand to advise based on customers’ needs and requirements.
Committed to community and sustainability
A key feature of Chadwicks Clonmel is the new Bee Garden, created in partnership with Loreto Secondary School Clonmel, to support biodiversity in the local area. The team worked with four transition year students from Loreto Clonmel, supplying materials and planting over 140 wildflower bulbs, geraniums, strawberries and primroses with them.
Community remains at the heart of Chadwicks Clonmel, with one Loreto Clonmel student currently working part-time in the branch, and a rotation of transition year students coming in each week for work experience under their guidance.
