The company’s journey started out over 100 years ago on the Bond Road at the Dublin Docks. Specialising in green lumber, the business became known for its professional timber drying operation before extending the offering to supplying and trading premium timber across the country. Over time, the business evolved from wood drying and transitioned into the importing and trading of highly specialised wood that it carries out today.
In 2006, Morgans Timber officially became part of the Chadwicks Group family and in 2011 moved its operations to Ashfield on the Naas Road. From sourcing credibly certified timber, to treating wood in eco-friendly practices, it is the ambition of the organisation to deliver ethically sourced and environmentally conscious products throughout Ireland.
